Silk is softer – the whiteness is toned down but it still catches a lot of light. It’s tough to tell Silk from Crystal in a photograph so you are going to accomplish a neutral look regardless but Silk may “go” with your other decor better than Crystal would.

I can almost hear Ella Fitzgerald crooning away…
